Here's what you can expect:

  • Provide technical support and incident handling for Linux-based software solutions, including connected interfaces, in the customer environment.
  • Take into account connected interfaces during ongoing operation.
  • Be the first point of contact for internal departments regarding questions about the operation of the application.
  • Ensure stable operation through continuous monitoring of customer systems and analysis and handling of anomalies during operation.
  • Implement and coordinate updates and configuration changes of the supported software solution on customer systems.
  • Coordinate closely with customers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Optimize the system and operational processes surrounding the software, also taking into account high availability issues.
  • Support projects in building and setting up new system environments
  • Automate deployments and configuration changes using established tools like Ansible and Jenkins

This is what makes you stand out:

  • You have a completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field, or training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration or application development.
  • Depending on your entry level (Junior/Senior), you bring professional experience in the operation and support of software solutions and Linux systems and are convincing in your dealings with customers.
  • A good understanding of technical relationships and dependencies in complex system environments is one of your strengths.
  • Experience with a common scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) and knowledge of programming are advantageous.
  • You already possess solid basic knowledge of working with SQL databases.
  • Ideally, you have experience with containerization (Docker & Friends)
  • You bring team spirit and initiative and maintain an overview even in a dynamic environment.
  • Your joy in learning new things and continuously developing yourself sets you apart.
  • Communicating in English is no problem for you.
  • Fluent German skills (at least C1 level) in both spoken and written form complete your profile.
