About the Role As a Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for the stability, performance, and scalability of our Linux-based production systems. You will work closely with R&D and data teams to ensure seamless operation of our large-scale proxy network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Manage, monitor, and maintain large-scale Linux-based production environments. Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems and services. Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide timely resolution. Automate processes and improve operational efficiency using scripting (Bash/Python). Deploy, configure, and optimize servers, services, and networking components. Collaborate with R&D teams on system architecture, deployments, and performance improvements. Monitor system health, logs, and metrics, and proactively address potential issues. Support CI/CD processes and production releases. Maintain security best practices and system hardening. Requirements Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems administration (Ubuntu/CentOS). Proven experience working in production/infrastructure environments at scale. Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing). Experience with automation and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools. Experience with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) – advantage. Experience with containers and orchestration tools (Docker/Kubernetes) – advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Nice to Have Experience working with high-scale data or proxy networks. Background in DevOps / SRE practices. Familiarity with network security and performance optimization.
