SAIC is seeking a Linux System Administrator to work with our Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) / System Simulation, Software and Integration (S3I) Customer on the Flight Mission Simulator / Digital (FMS/D) program located in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate must possess a consistent self-starting attitude with the desire to learn and grow in their field. He or she must be team player willing to work and lead cooperatively with users, integrators, analysts and other systems administrators in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Work within an agile development environment Execute software scans and document vulnerabilities Perform code modifications to address issues Ensure the software products are compliant with latest DISA STIG guidelines Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems with two (2+); additional six (6) years experience can be accepted in lieu of degree. Clearance Requirements: Must possess an active Secret Clearance or have the ability to obtain one before starting on contract; US Citizenship required. Required Skills: Familiar with Linux and Windows Operating Systems Configuration and automation tools Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support accreditation and other program protection activities Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support accreditation and other program protection activities Ability to work onsite.
