Job Summary: SPL is growing and is currently looking for a Liquid Measurement Technician Helper in Floresville, TX. The Liquid Measurement Technician Helper must be team oriented, proactive and goal driven. This position is responsible for assisting the Liquid Measurement Technicians with proving liquid meters. All work is performed under the general supervision of the Operations Manager. Operate various types of liquid provers with a general understanding of all associated equipment; Obtain spot and composite samples, transport hazardous and/or non-hazardous materials; Determine API gravity and S&W; Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain measurement-related equipment and tools; Completion of consistent data management and reporting task(s); Other duties as assigned. Requirements Valid driver's license with clean driving record; Maintain DOT Certification; Maintain good standing status of OQSG qualifications: CT039, CT271, & CT60; Maintain required State measurement certifications and qualifications. Education: High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred. Applicable work experience will be considered in lieu of education. Travel Requirements: Out-of-town stay and/or work is sometimes required. Work Schedule: This position is subject to overtime availability to meet deadlines and may be required to be part of the "On Call" program on a rotating schedule. These hours can be extended into weekends and/or holidays. SPL does not offer sponsorship of employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions for this role.
