Description

A part of the Global Treasury team the role primarily supports the execution and ongoing enhancement of State Street Bank International’s liquidity management framework and related regulatory obligations. This involves engaging with multiple stakeholders across various business units, partnering with the second line of defence risk function and related governance forums. There will be a particular focus on the efficient management on re-occurring tasks and data driven efforts specific to Liquidity Management.

The major responsibilities include:

  • Own and Lead SSBI’s Intraday Liquidity efforts
  • Serve as trusted partner for other stakeholders involved in intraday liquidity efforts
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration with corporate stakeholders
  • Partnering with operations to oversee intraday liquidity consumption
  • Support liquidity stress testing including methodology design, modelling and analysis related to Intraday Liquidity
  • Own Intraday Liquidity Data Quality efforts for SSBI
  • Have a basic understanding of the regulation and major drivers of LCR, NSFR and other key liquidity metrics

Other responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to GT’s efforts specific to recovery and resolution planning
  • Data analysis specific to different Liquidity Management efforts (including enhancement of existing reoccurring processes, data analysis for new products or part of remedial efforts)

Candidates should have the following characteristics:

  • Excellent analytical skills and good knowledge of Market Infrastructure and Intraday Liquidity
  • Exhibit a high level of flexibility towards undertaking additional responsibilities as required to contribute to the overall team’s success
  • Detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Professional, dependable and exhibit a high level of integrity
  • High degree of attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
  • 8+ Years of experience in banking, financial services with exposure Funding and Intraday Liqudity in either a first or second line role
  • Strong quantitative skills including ability to manage and analyze data;
  • Proficient with applications / tools such as Excel, Spotfire, PowerBi, SQL et al
  • First leadership experience desired
