Peninsula Co-op is inviting applications for the position of Liquor Store Associate (we like to call you Customer Service Representative) at our Six Mile Liquor Store located at 498 Island Highway, Victoria. We have a permanent, part-time role available, offering 8- 16 hours per week to an individual who is available for weekends.

We are a customer first liquor store looking for an individual to join our committed and engaged environment. We have an open, team, and customer-oriented culture that offers career growth and professional development. We are looking for an enthusiastic customer service professional who:
- Always look for ways to be helpful and go out of their way to assist others; consistently polite
- Good with numbers and can handle cash and other basic numerical calculations quickly and accurately
- Scan items and process transactions in an accurate and efficient manner including cash, credit and debit transactions and gift card activations. Able to be on their feet nearly all of their shift & consistently handling product (1 to 40 pounds)
- Look out for their safety and the safety of others
- Values integrity and honesty; someone to admire and emulate
- Use your product knowledge to assist customers and answer questions
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check
- Serving it right certificate required
Responsibilities:
Besides working with the best group of team mates and serving fantastic customers, you will be cleaning, and stocking the store, and generally ensuring our customers are taken care of and the location is clean and safe. We’ll also train and develop you for Shift Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and Site Manager opportunities if you are looking for advancement! We love to promote from within & over 70% of our leaders started with our organization in roles just like this one!
