WHO WE ARE

Our crafted legacy stems from 1977, when a group of residents from the Saanich Peninsula started Peninsula Co-op. Driven by a shared belief in community and cooperative values, they embarked on a journey with the simple goal of serving, supporting and connecting their neighbours. The spirit of that inaugural year is the inspiration in our liquor stores, but it’s not just about savouring the past. It’s about inviting people to craft memorable moments, one sip at a time, while pouring love back into our community. We’re a different kind of business. And that difference begins with membership.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Liquor Co. 1977 is hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our Wilkinson Liquor Store, located at 4140 Wilkinson Rd., Victoria BC. This is a permanent, part-time role offering 24 - 30 hours per week. Our ideal candidate will have open availability throughout the week, closing availability (11 PM) is a must!
Applicants must be 19+ years of age.

We are a people first business, with a strong focus on our customer and member needs. We are looking for a like-minded individual to join our dedicated team. We want someone who:

• Enjoys creating positive customer experiences and goes above and beyond in service delivery
• Has at least 1 year of experience in the liquor industry and 2+ years working in customer-facing roles
• Has strong cash handling skills and the ability to process transactions efficiently
• Is knowledgeable about alcoholic beverages and is comfortable recommending products
• Values safety, integrity, and teamwork, and is a role model for both colleagues and customers
• Is physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling products up to 50 lb.
• Is able to successfully pass a criminal record check
• Has a current Serving It Right certificate (required in advance of starting)
