Position Summary: South Country Co-op is currently seeking a customer-focused and team-oriented Full-Time Supervisor to join our team at the Brooks, Alberta Liquor Store. Reporting to the Liquor Manager, the Liquor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the liquor store, ensuring exceptional service, efficient merchandising, accurate inventory management, and a clean, organized work environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide world-class customer service to all guests Supervise daily operations of the liquor store, supporting the Liquor Manager Receive, stock, and merchandise liquor products in accordance with guidelines Create end cap displays and maintain appealing product presentations Support inventory management and ordering processes Experience motivating & coaching employees; able to identify measures of performance and actions needed to improve or correct performance. Perform till counts, manage deposits, and complete daily paperwork Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store Ensure compliance with Alberta Liquor Regulations and legislations Operate the POS system and handle all types of transactions accurately Monitor and uphold store policies, safety, and liquor handling standards Educate customers on the benefits of membership in South Country Co-op Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Minimum 2 years of retail experience, including 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in a fast-paced setting Valid ProServe Certificate Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, craft beer, and other alcoholic products Complete understanding of Alberta Liquor Regulations and Legislations Skilled in cash handling, scheduling, and inventory procedures Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills Proven ability to work in a team environment and engage multi-generational teams High level of professionalism, integrity, and organizational skills Exceptional time management and customer service abilities Work Schedule: This position requires full availability, including days, evenings, and weekends.
