Overview:
Exagen is a patient-focused and discovery-driven life sciences company dedicated to transforming the care continuum for patients suffering from debilitating and chronic autoimmune diseases. Our goal is to enable rheumatologists to improve care for patients through the differential diagnosis, prognosis, and monitoring of complex autoimmune and autoimmune-related diseases, including lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. By leveraging our proprietary Cell-Bound Complement Activation Products, or CB-CAPs, technology, we help get to the real cause of a patient’s symptoms and guide their journey to improved health.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least two years of experience in a comparable position, working as an essential member of a software team.
  • Experience supporting an LIS system or Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with Java, Java Script and SQL.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least four years of experience in a comparable position, working as an essential member of a software team.
  • Experience with LIS support and implementation (Sapio Exemplar a plus).
  • Proficiency with software development, testing and maintenance with Java, Java Script and SQL.
  • Salesforce administration and development, including Apex coding.
  • Familiarity with Mirth Connect interfacing engine.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, or within a team that practices continuous development and integration.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft business applications including SharePoint and PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with high volume diagnostic laboratories.
    Salary range: $90,000 - $130,00
Responsibilities
  • Implement or coordinate implementation of software updates.
  • Get to understand user needs, lab and business workflows, then collect/derive and document user requirements and create system specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to change control process.
  • Develop system changes or coordinate development with external vendors.
  • Define and execute test cases to verify system modifications.
  • Deploy or coordinate production deployments.
  • Provide progress updates to the team and proactively communicate with end users around their requests and updates they may be impacted by.
  • Provide ongoing support for LIS and other business applications.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve or coordinate resolution of software issues with external vendors.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to new and existing application users.
  • Perform system monitoring and maintenance
