Description:
The Starknet Foundation supports the development of Starknet, a state-of-the-art layer 2 blockchain network built on top of Ethereum. Our mission is to unlock Ethereum’s scalability and efficiency, making decentralized applications more accessible and effective.
We’re hiring an Office Receptionist for our new Lisbon office in the Bairro Alto area. This person will serve as the first point of contact for all employees and visitors and will be the local interface for any requests to the property management company. As such, we’re seeking a highly organized and personable individual with strong English communication skills (written/verbal), a customer-service mindset, and the ability to multitask efficiently. This role is part-time and requires in-office work 5 days/week.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in reception/front desk, office management, or guest services.
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills: a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor to provide a warm welcome to employees and guests.
- Ability to anticipate needs and provide proactive assistance to both onsite and offsite employees and guests.
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage professionally with visitors and team members (in-person, Slack, phone).
- Attention to detail to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office space.
- Ability to handle calendar scheduling, meeting coordination, and administrative support tasks efficiently.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and diverse/international office environment while maintaining a high level of hospitality.
- Willingness to step in and support office events, employee engagement activities, and special projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address visitor and employee requests with grace and efficiency.
- Proficiency in Slack, email, and Notion highly preferred.
- Ability to work mornings onsite, in-office 5 days/week with some flexibility in hours required and a target of 20 hours/week.

Responsibilities:
- Reception & front desk management: welcome and check-in employees, visitors and vendors and provide onsite support for all inquiries and issues.
- Office management: coordinate meeting rooms, maintain office supplies, assist with office decor & set-up, and manage common areas to ensure a seamless and inviting workplace experience.
- Coordination with property management: liaise with the office management company regarding building maintenance, security, and any office-related concerns.
- Facilities: coordinate with vendors and building management for deliveries, maintenance and facility-related issues.
- Equipment: track and manage inventory of office supplies, IT equipment, and other necessary materials.
- Admin: support team members with ad hoc administrative tasks, as needed.
- Communication: monitor and respond to inquiries and requests through the office Slack channel and via email.
