Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a Literacy & Numeracy Intervention Assistant to deliver impactful, one-on-one and small-group sessions that spark curiosity and growth. Working closely with SEN learners, you’ll foster a positive and engaging environment, helping each student succeed both academically and personally.

KEY SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage and Inspire: Plan and deliver tailored literacy and numeracy sessions that make learning enjoyable and accessible for SEN students.
  • Innovate and Problem-Solve: Address learning barriers creatively, adapting interventions to each student’s needs.
  • Effective Communication: Collaborate with staff and families to provide a supportive, inclusive experience.
  • Positive Behaviour Support: Foster an encouraging atmosphere, guiding students toward productive learning.
  • Outdoor Resilience: Thrive in an outdoor learning environment, rain or shine!
