THE RENFREW COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD
requires the following
LITERACY BASIC SKILLS INSTRUCTORLOCATION: Arnprior Continuing Education, Arnprior
Travel to designated schools or learning locations within Renfrew County is required.
HOURS PER WEEK: Approximately 25 hours/week during the Sept-June school year (hours may vary depending on work availability/continued funding). Hours of work could include daytime or evening classes on weekdays
SUMMARY: Literacy Basic Skills Instructors facilitate individual and small group adult instructional sessions in areas such as English, numeracy and computer skills in accordance with applicable Ministry and Board requirements.
RATE OF PAY: $34.66/hr plus vacation pay (non-union hourly paid position with no benefits).
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Three year post-secondary degree or diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience required with a concentration in education, social work, sociology, linguistics or applied languages or a related field preferred
