To strengthen our motivated Operations Team at our Bradford site, we are looking for a skilled Lithograohic/Digital Printer (m/f/d). Your Role You will create a positive team environment; you have an essential role in creating a culture of open communication. Collaboration and trust within your team. You will be responsible for working closely with your No 1 and making sure jobs are done to a high standard. Making sure everything is ready for the next job going onto press so the machine can achive its targets and goals. You will set clear expectations on performance from the outset. Establishing behavioral expectations is critical to creating an inspiring team environment and open communication culture. You will be responsible for reading the read sheet and making sure everything is correct to the verified copy provided and that layouts fit correctly and grip and grains are done and signed off correctly You will conform to MMP Health and Safety Policy, bringing to your managers attention of any risks You will be Operating your print machine to produce high Quality cartons for the customer and Healthcare industries. You will be responsible for making sure that all procedures are followed when getting next jobs ready for press. Making sure plates, work tickets and inks are in the correct locations and using the next job in the press for the inks on top of the machines. Making sure the board has been brought round to the holding area for next jobs on press. You will be responsible for helping to meet all efficiency targets set out by the Print Department. Improving Quality, performing basic maintenance, working safely and performing machine Health & Safety checks. You will be responsible for ensuring that all your area, equipment and machinery are kept clean and tidy, and that all maintenance is carried out where needed. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products made and all quality checks are carried out in accordance with quality and standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for covering breaks and running the machine whilst the No 1 goes for breaks and covering sickness and holidays to keep the print dept targets and efficiency's where they need to be Your Profile You have a High School Diploma or equivalent; and specific technical training related to Flexographic printing. You have already gained 3-5 years of experience within Flexo printing, or similar equipment. You posses a strong understanding of print quality standards and troubleshooting techniques.
