LITIGATION EXECUTIVE

City Centre, hybrid
Our client, an award-winning international law firm, is looking for a Litigation Executive to join their growing Property & Casualty team that handles property insurance claims. Acting on behalf of leading insurers, the Litigation Executive will handle these Property & Casualty (P&C) claims from first instruction, through the pre-action stage, and into proceedings when necessary.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a large caseload of Property Insurance claims arising from property damage including (but not limited to) fire, water, subsidence, construction, and impact damage
  • Capturing and collating required Management Information in accordance with agreed practice for clients
  • Negotiating settlement of claims, working efficiently, commercially, and in line with delegated authority
  • Maintaining and ensuring the completeness, accuracy, quality, and integrity of data on the case management system
  • Understanding insurer requirements and adhering to their SLAs
  • Meeting KPIs around service delivery, quality assurance, and caseload management
  • Supporting monthly and ad hoc reporting to insurers

Due to the nature of this Litigation Executive role, previous experience in claims and litigation is required. Familiarity with Civil Procedure Rules is necessary along with a good knowledge of legal procedures. An associated legal qualification i.e. LLB Law, GDL, ACII, CILEx, or equivalent would also be ideal.
