Legal Services
We are currently partnering with a highly regarded boutique law firm located in downtown Vancouver to hire a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant / Paralegal Hybrid. Known for its collaborative work culture, process-driven approach, and strong commitment to staff development, this firm offers a rewarding environment for legal professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality support on complex files.
This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented litigation assistant with strong BC litigation experience who is looking to join a tight-knit, professional team in the construction litigation space. You’ll gain exposure to large-scale files and work alongside respected legal experts in a modern, well-supported office environment.
About Our Client
With a longstanding reputation for excellence in construction and family law, our client is one of British Columbia’s most respected boutique law firms. The firm serves a wide array of clients from developers and construction firms to individual professionals and is deeply rooted in BC’s legal and business communities.
Located in Vancouver’s downtown core, our client operates with a centralized workflow model, allowing legal administrative assistants to collaborate across teams and gain experience with a variety of files. The firm promotes a highly supportive and respectful workplace culture, and offers its staff excellent benefits, professional development support, and the opportunity to be part of some of the most complex litigation work in the province.
About the Opportunity
This role is ideal for a litigation LAA or paralegal hybrid who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of varied and challenging work. Rather than being assigned to a single lawyer, you’ll contribute to a centralized workflow system, where all tasks are routed through a shared hub and picked up collaboratively by the team.
This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated litigation files, continued skill development, and the chance to be part of a firm that truly invests in its people through education reimbursement, professional development, and a full suite of group benefits.
About the Position
As part of the construction law group, you will assist with a wide range of civil litigation tasks supporting lawyers across the department. You’ll work on everything from file opening and document preparation to court filings and trial prep. The role involves collaboration with other LAAs and lawyers and requires strong time management and familiarity with BC Supreme Court Civil Rules.
This position reports into the LAA team structure and is supervised by team leads, with dotted-line collaboration across the department. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining file accuracy, managing deadlines, and ensuring timely court submissions.
