We are seeking a motivated Litigation lawyer to become a part of our team in the Mississauga head office. This is an opportunity to build on your practice under our highly experienced and growing team.

Practice areas of law/ responsibilities for this role:

  • Real Estate litigation (both residential and commercial)
  • Business litigation
  • Corporate litigation
  • Breach of contract
  • Landlord and tenant board

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • MUST have at least 3 years of working experience as a litigator
  • Previous experience of real estate and business litigation an asset
  • Strong research skills and ability to draft efficiently and diligently
  • Experience with drafting pleadings and other court documents
  • Ability to handle litigation files with minimal supervision but will have firm’s full support in training and guidance
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to have strong relationships with clients
  • Ability to speak in more than one language is a plus

Additional requirements:

  • Called to the Ontario Bar
  • License in good standing with the LSO
  • Excellent academic credentials

Salary: Commensurate with experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
