Overview POSITION OVERVIEW Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is seeking a Litigation Assistant to support our in-house litigation team in the Los Angeles, CA office. This role provides comprehensive litigation support to attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation lifecycle, from case inception through trial. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while supporting two to three attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring cases are handled efficiently, deadlines are met, and litigation materials are accurately prepared and maintained in compliance with California court rules and procedures. LOCATION Los Angeles, CA Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office / 2 remote days per week DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide litigation support to 2–3 attorneys on active civil litigation matters Assist with all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial matters Prepare, format, proofread, and file pleadings and other legal documents in accordance with California court rules and deadlines Manage document control, including organization, indexing, and maintenance of electronic and physical case files Coordinate and assist with discovery processes, including document production and responses Support trial preparation efforts, including trial binders, exhibits, witness materials, and trial logistics Utilize document management and trial presentation software effectively Calendar deadlines, hearings, depositions, and court appearances Coordinate with internal teams, courts, vendors, and opposing counsel as needed Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 2 years of experience providing litigation support in a civil litigation environment (as a Litigation Assistant or Paralegal) Familiarity with State and Federal procedures and local rules, including e-filing, e-service, and TOA/TOC Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously Proficiency with document management systems and trial presentation software Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Associate degree and/or paralegal certificate from an American Bar Association (ABA)–approved program Trial experience Experience in real estate (title/escrow) and/or insurance defense litigation Familiarity with high-volume or complex litigation matters COMPENSATION & BENEFITS This position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $35.00 - $40.00 hourly based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. Actual rate may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including skillset, experience and location. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
