This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1100000 - Rs 2300000 (ie INR 11-23 LPA) Min Experience: 8 years Location: Gurugram JobType: full-time We are seeking an experienced Legal Professional to manage corporate legal affairs with a strong focus on contract management, regulatory compliance, and transactional support. This role requires a well-rounded legal expert who can handle both corporate and litigation exposure, ensuring business operations are legally sound and strategically aligned. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing legal guidance across a wide range of business activities including contracts, banking arrangements, regulatory matters, and high-value transactions. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including NDAs, lease and license agreements, master service agreements, manpower contracts, O&M agreements, SLAs, and MoUs Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives Support banking-related documentation including loan agreements, sanction letters, and escrow arrangements Provide legal support across areas such as software licensing, AI-related agreements, real estate transactions, employment and labour matters, POSH compliance, CSR, and related party transactions Assist in corporate transactions including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, collaborations, and shareholder arrangements Conduct legal due diligence, prepare documentation, and coordinate with external legal counsel Engage independently with senior management and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective legal solutions Ensure compliance with corporate laws, company regulations, SEBI guidelines, and other statutory frameworks Identify potential legal risks and recommend practical, business-oriented solutions What Makes You a Great Fit Qualified legal professional with a 5-year integrated law degree (LLB/LLM) from a reputed institution 8–12 years of experience in corporate law, company law, and commercial legal functions Mandatory 2–3 years of experience in a law firm with exposure to corporate and transactional work Minimum 3+ years of chamber/litigation experience, offering a well-rounded legal perspective Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal documentation Hands-on experience in mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate transactions Good understanding of SEBI regulations, IPR, and statutory compliance frameworks Ability to independently manage multiple legal matters with high attention to detail Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
