Zwicker is headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, and maintains office locations throughout the United States. Zwicker is presently seeking a Litigation Operations Assistant to join our team. Applicants shall be versed in the litigation process, document preparation, and management of deadlines. Prior creditor rights experience is a plus but not required. Applicants should be organized and detail oriented and be able to work independently. The base hourly rate for this position is $18.00. Responsibilities Review and process litigation documents from multiple states Data entry for litigation specific documents Communicate with branch sites in each state when errors need correction, or clarification is required to effectively process litigation documents Basic scanning and copying Comply with all applicable standard operating procedures set forth by the Firm and its clients Perform other duties as assigned by the Litigation Operations Team Requirements 1 year in a legal environment Ability to use discretion and handle confidential information Ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work product Experience with editing, revising, and drafting of legal documents High level of proficiency with proofreading documents Strong attention to detail and top-notch organizational skills Strong computer skills (specifically Microsoft Word and Excel) Strong verbal and written communication skills Physical Qualifications Be able to lift five pounds or greater Be able to sit 90% of the work day at times Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed Be able to read and comprehend position specific documents and correspondence Be able to communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing Be able to travel occasionally when needed by the most efficient means of transportation Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position.
