JOB DESCRIPTION

Bullivant Houser seeks a highly motivated litigation paralegal for our Seattle office. This full-time position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a litigation paralegal and performing case and fact manager functions primarily in the casualty practice area. Experience in medical malpractice, construction defect, and premise liability a plus. Responsibilities include document review and organization, assessing evidence, document database management, witness interviews, and investigation. Must have experience analyzing and summarizing medical records, preparing subpoenas, and discovery requests and responses, conducting background and fact investigations, and assisting attorneys in both state and federal court trials in Washington.
The position requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent client service orientation, sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain focused in the midst of dueling priorities are also essential to the position. The ideal candidate will have experience with Litigation Support programs such as Relativity, Westlaw, Case Notebook, Eclipse, Sanction, Trial Pad, IPRO, and CourtTrax.
