Gilman & Bedigian, a law firm serving clients in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., New Jersey, and Texas is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to join our personal injury firm. This position provides a valuable and fulfilling career opportunity in a fast-paced legal environment.

It is important that you have the requisite experience and can hit the ground running. Your prior experience and skills should include the following:

  • 3-5 years’ minimum experience working in a personal injury law firm (less than this will not be considered)
  • 3-5 years’ minimum experience in litigation
  • Knowledge of medical and insurance terms
  • Capable of handling a caseload of between 40-50 active cases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general case management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Professional, dependable, and client-service oriented
  • General computer knowledge is required

Responsibilities
  • Manage and process incoming litigation correspondence and filings
  • Draft, revise, and format pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
  • Perform state and federal court electronic filing (e-filing)
  • Maintain litigation calendar and schedule critical deadlines and appointments
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel
  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys as needed throughout the litigation process
  • Accurately maintain and update Neos (Case Management Software)
