Summary: We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our growing legal team. This role is ideal for a paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys being deeply involved in all stages of personal injury litigation—from pleadings through trial preparation. The Litigation Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting attorneys, managing case progression, and ensuring exceptional service to our clients. This is a full-time, in-person (Monday - Friday) position in our Chattanooga office. Key Responsibilities: Support attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation, including discovery, mediation, and trial preparation. Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence. Manage and maintain personal injury case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and well-organized within case management systems. Communicate regularly with clients to obtain information, provide case updates, and explain next steps with professionalism and empathy. Request, review, organize, and summarize medical records, medical bills, wage documentation, and other damages-related materials. Coordinate depositions, independent medical examinations (IMEs), mediations, and court hearings. Prepare trial and mediation materials, including exhibits, witness lists, trial binders, and summaries. File legal documents with state and federal courts, ensuring strict compliance with deadlines and procedural rules. Utilize legal research tools, such as LexisNexis, to support case strategy and litigation preparation. Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date case information across internal systems. Qualifications: Proven experience as a paralegal in a law office setting, with an emphasis on personal injury or civil litigation. 2+ years of experience working in a personal injury law firm or litigation-focused practice preferred. Strong legal writing and drafting skills with exceptional attention to detail. Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and damages documentation. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment. Proficiency with legal case management, document management, and e-filing systems. Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills. Ability to conduct thorough legal research using multiple resources. Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal communication skills. Experience providing executive or administrative support is a plus.
