Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join our busy Litigation Department. The successful candidate will manage a broad caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, providing expert advice and representation to clients. This role offers excellent scope for progression within a supportive and professional environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle a wide range of litigation matters, including civil disputes, contractual claims, debt recovery, landlord & tenant disputes, and commercial litigation.
  • Provide clear and practical advice to clients on complex legal issues.
  • Draft pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and case preparation for hearings and trials.
  • Represent clients in court and at alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings.
  • Liaise with counsel, experts, and other third parties.
  • Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and firm policies.
  • Contribute to business development and departmental growth.
