This firm is now looking for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their Taunton team and play a key role in managing and growing their dispute resolution practice.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on position for a solicitor with a solid background in litigation who is ready to take ownership of a broad and varied caseload. You’ll be involved at every stage -from pre-action through to final resolution - and will have the autonomy to drive matters forward while being supported by a collaborative team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handling a diverse portfolio of litigation files, including commercial disputes, civil claims, and property-related matters
  • Drafting pleadings, legal documents, and correspondence with precision and clarity
  • Representing clients at court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
  • Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice tailored to client needs
  • Contributing to the wider success of the department through teamwork and business development
  • Keeping up to date with legal developments and maintaining high professional standards
