Our client seeks a motivated, ambitious Litigation Solicitor to deliver first-class legal services for a diverse client base.
They are a multi office firm, with premises across Manchester, also with diverse experience across contentious and non contentious law.
Hours: 09:00 to 17:30, hybrid working, permanent role.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE FOR LITIGATION LAW CAREERS

  • At least two years’ experience handling your own litigation caseload, either as a Solicitor or Legal Executive
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation process.
  • Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision, whilst contributing positively to team performance.
  • Strong client care skills and the ability to build enduring client relationships.
  • Demonstrable drafting, negotiation, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Confident oral and written communicator, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and organisation, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
Responsibilities

LITIGATION FEE EARNER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing a varied caseload of litigation matters, including but not limited to: contract disputes, property disputes/boundary disputes, debt recovery, TOLATA, landlord and tenant, employment and contested probate.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, statements of case, correspondence, and settlement agreements.
  • Liaising directly with clients, barristers, court staff, experts, and other parties to progress matters efficiently.
  • Advocacy at hearings when appropriate, attendance at court (where required), and managing case strategy
  • Ensuring meticulous record-keeping and compliance with all regulatory and professional requirements
