Evaluate claims to determine if they are viable to issue proceedings and subsequently engage external legal counsel. Maintain records and activity trackers of litigated matters in accordance with AAL protocol and regulatory obligations. Act as a referral point for technical coaching support on complex litigated matters, including Class Actions. About You Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/ or industry accreditations. Significant experience managing complex litigation, ideally within the Commercial & Domestic Property Insurance or financial services industry. Experience in either running or being part of Class Actions. Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for commercial decision making. Ability to make independent as well as collaborative decisions during expected or unexpected situations and then taking responsibility for the consequences of decisions taken. Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including high level negotiation capability to support engaging with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence. A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
