POSITION SUMMARY Manually move chicken crates, materials, or perform other general labor. Essential Functions Statement(s) • Pass appropriate tests and verification for forklift certification • Pass Ammonia Safety test • Follow safety rules • Follow plant rules and GMP's • Receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs. • Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets. • Move freight, stock, chicken crates, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, with the forklift or using trucks or other equipment. • Stack cargo • Wash out cargo containers or storage areas. Responsibilities

The Live Forklift Driver is responsible for manually moving chicken crates and materials, as well as performing general labor tasks. This includes operating a forklift to move freight and stock, following safety and plant rules, and maintaining accurate records of units handled.
