JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Live-In Assistant to join our small team at a heritage guest house. This is a live-in role offering room, salary, and breakfast, ideal for someone with experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or food service who enjoys a varied and hands-on role.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a live-in maid, assistant, or in hotel/restaurant work
• Comfortable with animals (dogs and other small livestock)
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable, flexible, and guest-service oriented
• Able to provide references
• Previous experience in food service or housekeeping (preferred but not essential)

• Housekeeping: cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping
• Bedroom turnover: making beds, cleaning bathrooms
• Guest check-in and general guest assistance
• Breakfast preparation, service, and clean-up
• Support hotel/heritage house owners with various tasks as needed
• Cooking assistance (experience a plus)
• Occasional animal care (dogs, poultry, etc.)
• Follow health & safety and hygiene protocols at all times
