Experience with spinal cord injury and bowel evacuation is essential. Our client leads an active and social lifestyle. He enjoys going to bars and regularly goes out on weekends, so flexibility and a positive attitude are important. He is looking for someone with similar interests and hobbies who can provide both practical support and companionship. The ideal candidate will be reliable, respectful, and confident in supporting complex needs while promoting independence and quality of life. The key tasks with this role include: Personal care Bowel care Assistance with household duty Meal prep Accessing the community Our live-in care assistants are extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting vulnerable people to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll provide day-to-day companionship, personal care, assist clients with the activities of daily living, and help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework. We support all our Live-in Care Assistants and provide training as well as opportunities for career progression. You will be provided with your own private room and have adequate breaks each day. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter. Qualifications What you’ll need This is a very important and rewarding role that requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional. Experience supporting someone with a spinal cord injury and providing bowel management is essential for this role. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant.
