We are seeking a compassionate, experienced live-in carer to provide 24-hour support to a lady with dementia on an ad hoc basis, typically 1 week per month, when her daughter is away.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a care role (live-in care experience preferred).
• Experience with dementia care essential
• Must be reliable, patient, and kind
• A compassionate, patient, and respectful nature.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable but not essential).
• Full UK driving licence .

• Provide 24-hour supervision and companionship
• Support with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Meal preparation and medication reminders
• Light housekeeping
• Ensure a safe, calm environment
