JOB DESCRIPTION

I’m looking for a reliable, compassionate, and proactive Live in Care Assistant to join my support team. I have a spinal cord injury and ideally require experienced assistance with daily living tasks to help me maintain my independence at home and in the community.

ABOUT ME:

• I am a 42-year-old male and live with a spinal cord injury and use a wheelchair
• I lead an active life, so reliability and flexibility are key
• I’m looking for a female carer who can drive a manual/ automatic van and who is supportive, discreet, and professional

• Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Bowel & Bladder program (schedule, digital stimulation)
• Manual handling and use of equipment (training can be provided for specific tasks)
• Support with meals and domestic tasks
• Accompanying me to appointments and social activities
• Supporting independence and personal choice
