Job Details Job Location: Chapel Hill, 1605 - Columbia, MO 65203 Live in- Direct Support Professional for Community Living "Support lives, build skills, and inspire growth as a Live-In DSP" JOB SUMMARY In this unique and rewarding role, you will provide coverage and direct care support to individuals with disabilities in their home. You will enjoy a full-time schedule with a competitive hourly wage, along with an exceptional housing benefit. In exchange for providing just five nights of overnight coverage, you will receive rent-free living and utilities in your own private quarters. This role is ideal for someone who values connection, stability, and purposeful work while making a real impact in the lives of others. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide oversight and direct support based on individual support plans, including personal care, medication support, medical coordination, meals, and daily living needs. Provide five (5) assigned nights of oversight coverage for rent and utilities. Provide emergency coverage during inclement weather. Implement program objectives, support skill building, and complete required documentation and daily logs. Assist with household management, including cleanliness, shopping, laundry, and reporting maintenance needs. Support community integration activities and model respectful communication and positive social skills. Follow safety procedures, participate in emergency drills, and maintain awareness of home and vehicle safety. Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS: Excellent communication, written, and organization skills Ability to teach/mentor others Ability to use computer programs such as Therap, Paycom, and Station MD. Ability to assist in the training of new staff Ability to maintain a budget KEY REQUIREMENTS: 18+ years of age High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license (ability to obtain class E license within 14 days of hire) Proof of vehicle insurance Successful completion of background checks and reference verification Work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
