OVERVIEW

Phoenix Sun Limited is a supported living accommodation for vulnerable persons ages 16+. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated support workers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance in their daily living. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. As a support worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalised care and ensuring the comfort and safety of those you assist.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• A caring, empathetic and compassionate nature
• You must be authorised to work in the UK, we regret we cannot offer sponsorship
• An enhanced DBS and supportive references for your position
• Dedication, commitment and reliability
• Some flexibility.
• Good written and spoken communication skills including fluency in English
• Having a valid driving licence for use in the UK is an advantage.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in First Aid is highly desirable to ensure immediate response to emergencies.
• Background in Health and Social care is beneficial
• Knowledge of Behaviour management techniques is valuable for effectively supporting clients with specific behavioural needs.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others are essential traits for success in this role.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within supported living environments or similar settings.
• Previous experience in care will be an asset when providing high-quality support.
