Description
Responsible for picking up a live chicken from the feet and placing it into a moving shackle. The requirement is to hang 23 birds per minute. Bird weight range from 6.0 to 11.0 lbs.   Job Duties * Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance * Must be able to work overtime and holidays as needed * Must be able to work in dry and wet environment * Must be able to work in different spots of the live hang production line * Wear proper PPE * Comply with established Company procedures * Comply with biosecurity, FSMA local, state and federal laws, policies, practices and procedures * May be cross trained as a cage dumper * Performing repetitive motion * Perform any task asked by management   Qualifications * Must have a goof interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work in a team environment * Able to abide by company safety policies * Capable of operating a Forklift and End loader * Physically, must be able to: Work in high places, climb ladders and stairs, * Bend, kneel and walk frequently. * Move large objects, lift and move 50 pounds, * Be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed and able to show up on time and as scheduled.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is picking up live chickens by the feet and placing them onto a moving shackle at a rate of 23 birds per minute, handling weights between 6.0 and 11.0 lbs. Duties also include working in various spots on the live hang production line and potentially cross-training as a cage dumper.
