POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Live Sound Engineer will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining all audio equipment during live band performances. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, live music environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a live sound engineer in a music venue, bar, or club setting.
  • Strong knowledge of live sound mixing, PA systems, monitors, and audio equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and make quick adjustments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with performers and staff.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional with a passion for live music.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends (Thursday–Saturday).

Responsibilities
  • Set up and soundcheck microphones, monitors, instruments, and PA systems before performances.
  • Mix and balance live sound during performances to provide the best possible experience for both the audience and performers.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively during shows.

  • Collaborate with bands, performers, and management to meet specific sound requirements.
  • Ensure smooth transitions between acts and maintain the overall flow of the night.
