We are looking for a Livestream Writer who specializes in transforming product information and technical features into engaging, audience-friendly scripts for Douyin livestreams. This role is responsible for ensuring hosts present Apple’s innovations with clarity, accuracy, and energy—balancing technical precision with the warmth and accessibility of Apple’s brand voice. The Livestream Writer will be the voice that turns product information into inspiration—making Apple’s technology feel approachable, useful, and magical during livestreams. By weaving together accuracy, clarity, and cultural resonance, this role ensures viewers walk away informed, inspired, and excited to explore Apple products. DESCRIPTION Script Development: Write livestream segments that explain product features, specifications, and benefits in a way that is accurate, compelling, and easy for hosts to present. Technical Translation: Simplify complex product details into relatable, real-world use cases that resonate with Douyin’s audience. Brand Voice Alignment: Ensure all product scripts maintain Apple’s brand standards—human, clear, and approachable—while adapting tone for the Douyin platform. Content Integration: Collaborate with Demo Creators, RCC moderators, and Production teams to embed product information seamlessly into livestream flow. Engagement Hooks: Incorporate prompts, comparisons, and interactive moments that help viewers connect with product features emotionally and practically. Editorial Accuracy: Work closely with Product Marketing to validate details and ensure scripts reflect the latest positioning, features, and benefits. Continuous Refinement: Adjust content based on host feedback, livestream performance, and evolving audience behaviors. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in content writing, scriptwriting, or product communications—ideally within consumer technology. Strong ability to translate technical features into simple, relatable narratives. Detail-oriented editor with excellent command of both technical accuracy and narrative flow. Collaborative, comfortable working under fast timelines with cross-functional teams. Mandarin fluency required and English language skills strongly preferred. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Understanding of livestreaming and short video storytelling, especially within China’s digital ecosystem. Apple-related live streaming host experience is preferred. Familiarity with Chinese cultural trends preferred.
