About Us The JBS Dinmore Processing Plant is the largest beef facility in the southern hemisphere. Located near Ipswich, in south east Queensland, the facility has a daily production ability of 3,400 cattle and employs approximately 2,300 people. Cattle are sourced from the finest cattle producing regions to produce a diverse range of pasture fed and grain beef products, from commodity to premium. The renowned AMH brand, the award-winning Yardstick, the highly marbled grain fed Pure Prime and our state’s brand, Queenslander Beef and more are all produced at Dinmore.   About the Role Due to upcoming parental leave, we are currently recruiting an experienced Livestock Clerk to join our team in a maximum term contract capacity. Reporting to the Dinmore Livestock Manager, the main objective of the Livestock Clerk role is to provide high quality administration support to the Livestock team whilst working with a wide range of stakeholders including sale yards and buyers.   Your key responsibilities will include: Liaising with vendors and livestock buyers Checking NVD's and NUS Data Working closely with the Plant Accountant, paying vendor accounts and invoicing   Daily plant checks General admin and data entry Processing Saleyard, Liveweight, Feedlot and Plant accounts and carcass data Daily and weekly reporting   About You Basic livestock knowledge Experience in the red meat industry advantageous Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrated analytical abilities Ability to effectively organise workload, set priorities and meet deadlines High level of initiative Basic to intermediate computer skills, including MS Office Strong customer service focus Previous experience with accounts and data entry beneficial   Why work for JBS Australia?
