Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

To support the site livestock procurement team by providing accurate and timely administration, coordination and reporting. Engage positively and professionally with livestock suppliers and ensure timely responses to all queries engaging with site and livestock teams as required.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Supplier queries
First point of contact for all producer inquiries, maintaining positive relationships with our livestock farmers (producers), hauliers and our cattle buyers
Livestock bookings
Process livestock bookings and liaising with producers and livestock buyers to ensure correct and timely delivery of cattle to the plant

ROLE DELIVERABLES

  • Livestock pricing accuracy and efficiency
  • Data maintenance and reporting accuracy
  • Supplier query response times and satisfaction

ROLE QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

  • Previous experience in administration with excellent IT and administrative skills
  • Experience with livestock suppliers or farmers an advantage
  • Professional and positive communication and relationship building
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong time management and prioritization
  • Flexible and adaptable
