Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Teys Australia is seeking an experienced Livestock Supervisor who holds a strong passion for animal husbandry to join and lead the Livestock team based at our Jindalee Feedlot located in the Riverina region of NSW. The role will be responsible for supervising the care and coordination of the Jindalee feedlot, ensuring the health and safety of employees and the coordination of livestock is maintained per applicable company procedures.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in selecting, leading, and training of stockmen
  • Lead the Livestock Team in the health management of cattle
  • Plan and organise logistics for cattle shipments
  • Assist in organising the induction process for the cattle arriving at the feedlot
  • Ensure the work environment is without risk to health and safety of employees by ensuring Teys applicable policies and procedures are followed
