Provides timely, quality maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and Ground Support Equipment which requires preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications and documentations. General job description: Under general guidance performs the following activities: • Performs preventive maintenance; troubleshooting, repairs and modifications to FedEx vehicles and GSE. • The completion of required paperwork for each assignment including VURR, VAGIS and FAMIS documentation. • Compiles and maintains all documents necessary to comply with Local, regulatory agencies where applicable. • Maintains a clean, safe work area in accordance with corporate/OSHA standards. • Interfaces with customer (FedEx employees) and vendors regarding vehicle and equipment repairs. • Assumes responsibility for completion of project work. • May be required to perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education: • High School Degree/Equivalent. Minimum Experience: • Four (4) years recent fleet, automotive, heavy equipment, or truck vehicle maintenance experience and applicable licenses/vocational training. • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
