Ext.: 400 A, Arcos Torre I Bosque de las Lomas 05120 Cuajimalpa de Morelos, CMX Mexico Involves performing a variety of accounting duties at intermediate level applying principles of accounting. General job description: Under general supervision performs the following activities: • Ensures compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices. • Ensures proper administration of local statutory reporting, tax accounting requirements, and the filing of tax returns on a timely basis. • Administers relationships with tax authorities, payroll service bureau, auditors, and other related agencies. • Ensures that internal control of accounting systems are in place and maintained in order to safeguard the company assets and avoid liabilities. • Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations of moderate complexity. • Prepares cash receipts, disbursement journals, and accruals monthly. • Prepares monthly cash flow forecasts and ensures that sufficient funds are always available to meet the company's liabilities. • Keeps Manager updated on accounting related activities by submitting required reports and keeping the Manager informed on issues and changes in related laws and regulations. • Prepares management information systems to aid in the control and development of the operation. • May be required to perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education: • Bachelor's degree in accounting. • Proficiency in English (650 TOEIC points). • Local professional certification, if required.
