POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision and/or direction of the Registered Nurse, the Critical Care Technician performs various direct and indirect patient care activities in accordance with the Nursing Department policies and procedures. The Critical Care Technician is able to assist with the care of any hospitalized patient and may be assigned other functions in accordance with hospital/department policies, procedures and protocols. BASIC KNOWLEDGE High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation program. Registered in the State of Vermont as a Licensed Nursing Assistant. EXPERIENCE One year of previous experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant is required. Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
