The Finance Analyst I is a hands-on, high-impact support role, designed to: • structure and scale finance processes • improve reporting quality and data reliability • support the implementation of tools and ways of working You will contribute across all core finance activities, working closely with the Finance Manager and Controller, and playing a key role in improving how finance operates. This role is transversal, dynamic, and highly exposed, ideal for someone who wants to understand how a finance function scales in a growing organisation. It is a temporary role supporting the transition toward a lean and sustainable finance model, where structured processes and tools replace manual complexity. What you will do Data & Reporting You will help build a solid and reliable data foundation: • Consolidate financial data across: o EU projects o internal reporting o budget tracking • Maintain and update financial tracking files • Ensure traceability, consistency and quality of financial data • Support preparation of: o reporting templates o dashboards o structured outputs Budget & Financial Planning You will be directly involved in budget preparation cycles: • Support the preparation of: o annual budget o multi-year financial planning • Consolidate inputs from different stakeholders • Maintain and improve budget tracking and updates • Support budget tracking for EU project beneficiaries • Contribute to structuring and improving financial outputs Tooling & Process Improvement You will contribute to making finance more efficient and scalable: • Support implementation and improvement of finance tools • Develop and maintain: o reporting templates o structured workflows • Document finance processes and practices • Contribute to improving: o AP / AR visibility o expense tracking o procurement workflows Cross-Finance Contribution You will work across multiple finance topics and gain broad exposure: o EU project reporting o External stakeholders reporting o audit preparation (data level) o procurement tracking Who you are Required skills and qualifications • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field • 0 to 2 years' experience with preferably a first experience (internship or junior role) in finance or data with exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, data consolidation • Interest in tooling and process improvement • Strong analytical and data skills • Proficient in Excel / data handling • Structured, detail-oriented, and organised • Strong ability to work across multiple topics simultaneously About us What we offer Dynamic and innovative work environment Collaboration with diverse stakeholders Inclusive and diverse culture European recognition and impactful projects Shape the future of the data revolution What sets us apart The Luxembourg National Data Service is a modern and dynamic undertaking.
