job summary:
The Project Manager will be in an Owner’s Rep role overseeing the development, construction, and transition to operation of an LNG facility. You will be managing project scope, schedule, cost, risks, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring compliance with PMI-based methodologies and contract requirements. This is a long-term hybrid contract position based in Madison, WI. Per diem or relocation assistance available.

responsibilities:

  • Lead the LNG facility project from development through construction and operational transition.
  • Apply PMI-based project management methodologies to achieve scope, schedule, and cost objectives.
  • Identify business needs and deliverables while managing project costs, resources, performance, and risks.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks that could impact deliverables.
  • Develop and execute communication and stakeholder management plans.
  • Provide regular project status updates to key stakeholders with agreed-upon reporting formats and frequencies.
  • Determine required project staffing skillsets and assess strategies to minimize risks.
  • Manage contracts, including preparing RFPs, evaluating responses, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance.
  • Ensure training needs are met for project team members.
  • Utilize project management tools, software, and reporting systems effectively.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a manager or director.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Emphasis in project management, engineering, or related area.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • 15 years professional experience in program or project management managing multiple large projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing LNG projects.
