JOB SUMMARY

Help deliver our mandate to grow and optimise a global LNG portfolio by originating, structuring, pricing, negotiating and closing value-adding structured LNG transactions around which the LNG Trading team will trade and further optimise.

Responsibilities
  • Establish new and maintain existing relationships with global LNG suppliers and customers, develop leads, gather market intelligence and find deal-space, with a focus on Asia;
  • Develop new business ideas for structured LNG deals and optimisation opportunities, working with LNG Trading when relevant for the deal tenor;
  • identify and develop term procurement and/or sale opportunities, taking into account overall portfolio strategy and requirements;
  • Lead deal negotiations and manage the full physical deal life-cycle from inception to execution and provide support through the first ADP planning cycle (and beyond when necessary), in close coordination with the wider LNG team and key support functions;
  • Close value-adding physical LNG transactions in full compliance with internal policies and procedures while ensuring robust contractual terms and conditions;
  • Accurately assess deal fair value pricing in close collaboration with the wider LNG team, considering the sources of intrinsic and extrinsic value, the associated deal risks and exposures and develop contractual / financial risk management strategies to mitigate same;
  • Develop deal documentation and present deal recommendations to senior management for approval;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the team’s global LNG strategy in coordination with the wider LNG team;
  • Build strategic relationships with core internal business partners in London, Singapore and Berlin
