As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo Product Team in Doha as a Load Master Officer. About the role As a Load Master Officer, you will be required to travel to various freighter destinations (Online /Offline) to safely execute operational activities. This will comprise performing safe turnaround functions which includes PDU/CLS operations, unloading, loading and securing cargo. You will be responsible for safe production of Load sheets / Loading Instructions Report for freighters as per the required standards, in case of weight & balance system outage, making sure that optimum aircraft performance is achieved as per the Weight and Balance Freighter Manual (WBM). As part of your daily responsibilities, you will also: • Assist outstations at times of need due to shortage or non-availability of local station staff. • Monitor Weight and Balance Freighter (WBF) license renewal revalidation processes. Ensure all licenses of are valid at all times. • Travel to freighter destinations in the absence of operational coverage at outstations to release flights. Flexible to travel as and when required to all stations instructed by the superior. • Provide feedback to management on ramp operations at outstations and all operational short comings with Ground Handling Agents in the network. • Ensure on-time performance (OTP) is maintained in the best level for the assigned turn arounds in coordination with GHA's and regional departments • Support Cargo build up process in remote, Charter Flights or offline stations. • Be the operational point of contact between FCLC and IOC for remote, Charter Flights or offline stations. We are looking for a professional who possesses the following skills and experience: • High School Diploma with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent (preferably in STEM) with Minimum 3 years of experience as a Load Controller. • Hands-on experience in freighter operations. Specific experience to 777F and B747-8F aircraft. • A/C loading experience and compatibilities. • DGR, I-AR. • IATA Regulations. • Load control course. • Supervisory skills training advantageous. • Valid acceptable Load Control license on wide-bodied aircraft. Responsibilities
