At our client in Waalwijk — a well-established and growing transport company — you can start working as a logistics employee in their large warehouse. In this role, you and your colleagues are responsible for loading and unloading roll containers with various goods into and out of trailers. These goods are transported all across the country, and from those customers, return containers also come back.
Your workday starts around 12:00 PM. You begin by unloading trailers with return goods. These are often damaged items, but also a lot of plastic and cardboard. These goods need to be sorted and placed in the correct locations.
Later in the afternoon, you’ll start loading filled containers. These shipments are prepared and positioned in different lanes within the warehouse, so you know exactly which load goes into which trailer. This requires careful and precise work — and you’ll be physically active all day!
Working hours are approximately from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday. However, this can vary — on quieter or busier days, you may start later or finish later.
Because of this, the total number of hours per week can fluctuate. If that’s not a problem for you, we’ve got a great opportunity waiting.
