Title Loader, Freezer ID 2025-6217 # of Openings 1 Job Locations US-GA-McDonough Category Operations Location : Location US-GA-McDonough Job Post Information* : External Company Name National DCP Job Post Information* : External Company URL www.natdcp.com Location : Postal Code 30253 Location : Address 101 Liberty Industrial Parkway Type Regular Full-Time Position Overview Location: McDonough, GA Schedule: 2pm - 10pm Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (off Tuesday and Saturday) Pay Rate: 23.09/HR Overview: The primary function of this position is the end processing / loading of all customer orders in the dry selecting zone, including hand loading cups, smallwares, and chemicals. Flexibility in job duties and scheduling. Ability to work with other loaders and selectors in a team setting. This position requires working in environments with variation in temperature and humidity (e.g., Dry, Cooler and Freezer areas). Responsibilities Ensures all pallets are wrapped and labeled properly. Accurately loads orders onto tractor trailers prior to each route’s start time. Complies with company guidelines and procedures relating to loading methods and weight distribution. Meets and maintains company standards when loading or selecting. Safely operate all equipment utilized to perform tasks associated with role. Maintain Company standards for safety, attendance, and conduct. Maintain proper and safe lifting techniques. Perform daily safety inspections on material handling equipment. Immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions or accidents. Attend all required Company meetings. Follow NDCP’s Good Distribution Practices. Cross train in other functions and perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Assist in the orderly maintenance & general housekeeping of the warehouse. Qualifications Ability to operate shrink-wrap machine and manually shrink-warp product Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (fork lift, pallet jack, high lift) Ability to work flexible days and hours. Schedule may include weekends and holidays High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience Desire and ability to work in a collaborative work environment 1+ years of experience of loading experience preferred. Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures preferred Basic knowledge of food handling regulations preferred Electric Pallet Jack and forklift experience preferred Voice Picking and Vocollect experience preferred Must be able to pass a Power Industrial Truck (PIT) onsite training course RF Gun experience preferred
