Description The Truck Loader is responsible for accurately and efficiently loading and securing orders onto delivery trucks for commissary operations. This position ensures all orders are prepared to meet company standards for accuracy, safety, and timeliness, playing a vital role in supporting delivery operations at Kimble's Corrections. Key Responsibilities: Order Loading: Accurately load and organize commissary products onto delivery trucks based on order sheets and schedules. Verify the accuracy and completeness of loaded orders. Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Ensure all items are properly secured to prevent movement or damage during transit. Inventory Management: Perform final order checks to confirm accuracy and quality before dispatch. Report any product shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the supervisor immediately. Equipment Operation: Safely operate loading tools, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred). Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure reliability. Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve order issues or delays. Communicate with drivers to confirm delivery requirements and special instructions. Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free loading area. Assist with restocking or warehouse organization tasks as needed. Requirements Qualifications: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or loading role (preferred). Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Skills: Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines. Effective teamwork and communication skills. Basic math skills for order verification. Work Environment: Indoor warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures. Fast-paced, physically demanding environment requiring focus and adaptability.
