We are looking for a Front-end Loader Operator to join our Composting team in Cannington, ON. This position will assist the team to meet production targets while respecting quality, safety and all related production standards.

SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 1+ years’ experience operating excavators, loaders and dozers in a mining or construction environment (considered an asset)
• Safe work background and culture
• Ability to accurately follow instructions and complete tasks with little or no supervision

• Using a Cat 930K Front-end Loader to “Flip” soil rows until material is fully composted.
• Laying down/removing new rows as needed.
• Using a stacker to blend soils for production.
• Taking soil temperatures daily and providing feedback to Production Superintendent.
• Routine maintenance of equipment including grease and checking fluid levels
• Perform pre-start equipment inspection and report deficiencies to supervisor for correction as required
• Demonstrated ability to use equipment correctly and effectively
• Safe and effective operation of heavy equipment
